Her journey through the written word includes romance novels like Two Weeks in August and Lights of the Heart, as well as ventures into speculative fiction such as The Liaison, Rosemary, and Stepping Through. She has also recently added cozy mysteries, including Hot Tea and Lemon and the soon-to-be-published When Mercy Goes Missing.

Nat’s work has been featured in thousands of publications, reflecting her diverse literary interests. Her romance novels are actively published by Bella Books, while Flashpoint Publications, Desert Palm Press, and Sunwater Editions carry her other works. Beyond her own writing, Nat is committed to nurturing other writers through teaching and mentorship. She worked for many years in the Writers in Virginia program, guiding students and fellow writers. As an editor, she has refined hundreds of manuscripts, helping shape stories that resonate with readers. She is an active member of Romance Writers of America, Western Women Writers, Southwest Writers, the Golden Crown Literary Society, and several other organizations.

Nat currently resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the desert’s breathtaking landscapes provide a sanctuary for her creativity, beautifully contrasting with the lush greenery of her previous home in Virginia.
